Every choice made since March 13th 2020 has been with the centers and our families in mind. The Children’s Center is honored to have been nominated as Top 5 for the Utica OD’s Best Of The Best contest for Best Preschool and Best Daycare. After winning 2018 and 2019 we couldn’t have been happier or more proud of our centers impact on the community. 2020 has brought much uncertainty to the daycare/preschool world. During COVID-19 only 6 centers in Madison, Herkimer, and Oneida county were open for all of the pandemic (this of course includes the GSCC & CSCC). Centers ...are closing permanently, some reopening or reopened recently and others dealing with the new normal throughout all of 2020. With that being said our centers are not actively promoting voting for this years contest to the public, our parents and staff as we did in the past. While others struggle to survive we find that we need to help and support one another rather than compete. We thank everyone who’s nominated and voted for us and who will going forward. Now more than ever our community and it’s local businesses need your support and patience. The Best Of The Best is wonderful ceremony and contest and honors deserving businesses year after year and we are happy to be a part of it. We find that in 2020 we must sit this one out and lend a hand where needed in our community instead. Thank you all. We love you. See more

This year you have showed us the power of childhood innocence, positivity, and how our love for one another has no bounds even through a global pandemic. To our outstanding GSCC educators HAPPY TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK! This has been the most heartbreaking yet hopeful period of time for us both at home and in program...Miss Alison wanted to thank our center’s staff for everything that they do each and every day from the bottom of her heart. What has shown through during these past 8 weeks is our students/families bonds with one another, our family-like connection as educators, and the praise we’ve received from our community for being Best Of The Best. To every student we have cared for, taught, and impacted...we love you!
