We have lots of friends in the restaurant world. They want to make sure you have a good experience. Give them the respect they deserve as they begin this. READ IT before you decide to dine outside! Yes! Restaurant patios will be open ! This is a new world though. You're most likely going to a restaurant that threw together a patio in hopes of making some money. The building was not designed for this. They are trying their best but everything may not be perfect. Eating in the... streets is fun but it's going to be hard on the employees. They have to wear a mask and gloves no matter how hot and go possibly a few hundred feet to get more water. They are going to be hot, sweaty and most likely overwhelmed because these restaurants are not set up for this. Please help your servers in this journey by doing the following 1. Don't run your server. Try your best to ask for everything you need at once. Remember it's going to be a long walk from the street into the building for more water or anything else. Help us out by asking all at once 2. No mask jokes or your views on them. The server has to wear it. They have no choice and really your opinion of them while you're eating not wearing one means nothing to them. 3. The server is wearing the mask to protect you and you have nothing on to protect them. Wash your hands. 4. You eat. You go. Eat your meal. Have some drinks but please do not sit at a table all night unless you continue to spend money. These restaurants are working with very limited space. They can't afford for you to order 2 side salads and water and sit there 4 hours. Yes people do do that. All the time. 5. Don't come out if your sick. 6. Social distancing. Keep your kids at the table. Yes. They're cute but if they are running around they are getting too close to other people. 7. Cut everyone some slack. Everything may be a bit slow because this is basically a new job for everyone. Be kind. 8. Tip. They are going to be sweating wearing masks all to make a buck. Please treat them right and leave a decent tip. If you can't afford to tip you can't afford to go out. 9. Be pleasant. You should be happy. You're finally out. 10. Realize that the staff is doing their best. 11. Remember you have 3 meals a day every day of your life. This is only one of them. Calm down and enjoy it! 12. Please share! Whoo Hoo! The surprise is out. Thanks to the Fort Plain School and the downtown merchants we were able to put a sign featuring each of this year's Fort Plain Junior Senior High School graduating seniors in the storefronts in town. Nate is special to us as Tim photographed his parents wedding,Nate's little league pictures, his baby photos, portraits of his family and this, his senior portrait. We are so honored to have been able to document so many important milestones in their lives.

So who's missing spring sports besides us? We always take spring sports photos for use in the following year's book. So sadly, there are no spring sports happening to take photos of for the 2021 yearbook this year. What that does mean though is we have photos from last spring of this year's seniors who aren't able to play in this, their senior year. Let me know if you want to see more........

Tim's photographic art work was chosen by Saratoga Arts from a very competitive group of nearly 70 very diverse and high quality submissions from all over the Saratoga and Capital Region for inclusion in one of only three small group shows in the 2020 Calendar year. He was very honored to be included in the first exhibit which runs from February 15-March 21 along with two other artists Katharine Patterson and Linda Bacon. Originally asked to submit a group of images for them to choose from, they asked if they could include all the images submitted. For a very complete exhibition of his photographic study of Amish Life in Stone Arabia, please be sure to visit the show. February 15-March 21 Hours are Monday thru Friday 9am-5pm and Saturdays 11am-5pm

We had a high school senior in yesterday morning and I remembered that we had taken his photo for the story hour class at the Canajoharie Library. I thought it would be fun to find the class photo from that day. I will be posting then and now photos once he gets a chance to see them, but here’s the group photo from 2007! Recognize anyone? Don't we make a great team? Tim does all the work and I get the shot. This sweet photo of Nolan and Elizabeth is one of our favorites and shows how we work together. Creating different images, but with with a complementary style. And for you word nerds out there: Complement: The term derives from the Latin complmentum, meaning something that completes. So, that means if something complements something else, it completes it, enhances it, or makes it perfect. And I think it's safe to say these two complement each other as well.

Congratulations to Sara and Marcus! Marcus chose the first image for his favorite from their engagement session. He said he really loved it because he loves Sara’s beautiful blue eyes and the blue background really brings them out in this photo. He also liked how her hand with their engagement ring rests right above his heart. Sara’s chose the third photo because it showed the fun and loving relationship between them. They both really liked the center one as well. Which one would be your fave?

Nolan And Elizabeth’s wedding day was just perfect. Elizabeth was absolutely stunning in this amazing family heirloom wedding gown and Nolan looked pretty sharp as well. It was such an honor to be a part of their day.

Happy Fourth of July! Independence Day or 4th of July? Either one for me, it’s my favorite holiday. No presents, no candy, no hours of food preparation. Just warm weather, parades, fireworks and brightly colored red, white and blue decorations. We usually spend the day with family. Playing yard games or cards, hiking or camping, outdoor cooking and at night sitting around the campfire. How do you like to spend your holiday?

These beautiful ladies came in for a special Christmas surprise photo of the two sisters for their dad. We couldn’t miss the chance to also make a portrait of all three of them that they will all treasure forever.

Happy New Year! Hope 2019 has everyone "Jumping for Joy!" Our portrait session with Leila and Yara was a study in Joy! We had a fun filled jam packed session with these super sweet sisters and their Mima. With plenty of time between clothing and pose changes to get the wigglies and gigglies out, we were able to get the genuine smiles and comfortable poses we were looking for.
