The Culinary Institute of America Burnt Food Museum 08.12.2020

So one day Chef McCue has me getting my ass kicked opening a pop up kitchen in k10 with about three volunteers and a kitchen with about 2 pots, 4 woks and a couple plastic quart containers. I walk into k16 because we are out of every food item we need and Chef turns to me and says "Meet Manny, heres his number and call him tonight, he has something for you." I call him only to find out that I am now responsible for taking care of the one and only burnt food museum and boy was it funny when he showed up to my door with a plexiglass case of burnt food. Well anyway, that's how I got it and that's why I am posting here today. I'm that crazy girl with a room full of burnt food so here goes nothing I guess. If you want to see it, contact me anytime its not going anywhere! - Helen Morganto

What's up party people! I know, I know, it has been too long since i have added anything substantial to this page, but I have been focusing on finishing up my time here at the CIA. That being said I am now actively seeking a new Curator to fill my shoes. The Rules: 1. You must live on the campus of the CIA Hyde Park. 2. You must up hold the standards of Carbonic beauty that made the CIA Burnt Food what it is. 3. You must allow student a window of opportunity to visit the mus...eum. 4. Finally, you must put forth the effort to Shamelessly promote this museum at any and every opportunity possible. (especially ones that you may not necessarily be invited to. If you are able to abide by these rules and you are interested in the position of curator please send me a letter of intention. Also keep an eye out for our open interview table in the hallway in front of Farq Hall this week.(actual Date and time TBD, probably WED the 29th from 1130am to 130pm) Forever toasty, Manuel Ruiz Curator
