Holiday break begins December 21 through Jan 1. There is class Saturday dec 19. There is class Saturday Jan 2. The new Saturday schedule starting in January will be jazz 5 at 11:00am. Giselle act 2, 12-1. Giselle act 1, 1-2:30. I have requested school use in May but we have no idea what the rules will be regarding indoor functions at that time. Same for the recital in June. Costume forms are ready at the front desk.

I just sent an email to all ballet 6 parents to test out this zoom thing. I scheduled a class for 3pm today.

We will not be having rehearsal on Saturday. Doesn’t seem safe yet. We are looking into doing virtual classes through Zoom. Hopefully to start Monday. It would start with the same schedule but classes would only be 40 minutes to start. I think I have everyone’s email if you filled it in on your registration form. I’m just learning how to use it so please be patient and if you have experience in Zoom shoot me a pm. Hope everyone is safe and cozy.

Tuesday, November 26 from 6:00 to 8:00, DC alumni, Curtis Jaeger, will be teaching a master class in tap and jazz. This class is open to all jazz 5, jazz 4/5, tap 4, tap 3/4 students.

We do have classes this week. Also if you would like a t shirt please fill out the order form at the front desk.

So. Someone just reminded me about soap box derby on that Sunday 9. I will try to do all dress and show on Saturday the 8. That is the best I can do. I am beholden to Delaware Valley and since the assistant super intendent at Port Jervis will not allow us to use that stage (although they have no problem with the Wizards there every year) we only get that weekend. I was also trying to work around PJ prom. I will keep you updated.

The recital will be Sunday June 9 at 2pm with a dress rehearsal on Saturday June 8!

Since the schools have dismissed early for the weather we will be closed because if the weather. We will see everyone tomorrow!

And to top off this great week we are having I see snow and ice in the forecast for tomorrow afternoon. Good Lord.

As far as I know we will be able to start tomorrow. We will not have class tonight as there is only one place I can get into and most other classes will still be missed. We will have 2 extra days on a Friday and Saturday to make up these missed classes. Sarah is making a schedule for that and I will post that here and at the studio. Thank you all for your understanding and patience.

There will not be class tonight but the clean up supervisor will be there today and I will be there also to get a better idea of a time line. In the meantime, I will be finding space for Tuesdays classes so stay tuned as to where to show up for your class!
