Good morning All! I hope everyone has been safe through this Covid pandemic. The weather lately tells me that fall is in the air as well as some kids and parents going back to school partime and also doing home online sessions.. My Spring and summer was spent Mtn. biking, road biking and some hikes with my wife and a few friends. Always very small groups of 3 or 4 max. I know that with some genetic health issues it's important that I stay active.. As the gym opens I plan ...on teaching possibly 3 classes a week at Eclipse Fitness. That schedule will be out soon. This Diet Doc program is back (never left) taking on new clients. I have clearance to do consulations at Price Chopper M32 from the store manager. Good morning! As I scan through FB I see that alot of people are bored, lost without the gym, miss friend gatherings etc. I feel it's the perfect time to focus on yourself in being creative in developing some kind of workout that will fit your open schedule. A few ideas may include walking, jogging, biking, hiking, fishing, body weight exercises. You don't need a crowd or others to do this, you can accomplish all on your own.. In order to be successful with the above is to b...e self-motivated!!!! This is for you and NO one else! Find that inner energy, set small goals for yourself or your families.. Get off the couch and just move!!!! This pandemic is temporary, we will get through it. It may be back, no one knows.. Be prepared by starting now, by putting a plan in place, start now, start today!! One day, one hour a day for just you can make a difference.. As for myself, 120 miles on a road bike last week, roughly 10 hours on a spin bike, 1 hike with Kathy!. Get up and move people, self-motivated!! I'm still taking on clients for weight loss help with the Diet Doc program. Weekly follow-up have been phone calls which seems to be working well. Good morning! It's certainly been a while since my last post. It's also been a huge adjustment for lots of people including myself. Our schedules are off which includes workouts, eating and everything else in our "normal life". I've adjusted by helping more around the house, cleaning, cooking, wash, electrical projects, vacuuming, the list goes on. My workouts have been hiking, treadmill, mtn bike, road bike, resistance bands and body weight workouts. Most are done alone... or with one other person. My food has been a challenge because I'm off my normal work schedule and the pantry is more accessible. Will power overcomes my weakness. I guess I still have that competitive mindset!! Goals and always try to do better, one day at a time!! If there's a will, there is a way! Stay positive, stay focused, stay consistent! We will get through this!.
