#Repost @erichinman Training hard or training smart? Here's my story with triathlon: When I first got into the sport, I trained hard, but not smart. I didn'...t know why I was doing what I was doing. I ran fast, I biked hard, and I swam when I felt like it! A local competitor, Mike (@corona_1975) kept beating me. I'm smart enough to never let my ego get in the way of knowledge + progress. I hired him to coach me. Under his guidance, I learned the process to build durability and develop an aerobic engine. I understood why I was doing each and every workout.
