Q&A following Email [email protected] for a ZOOM invitation Please join us on Wednesday August 12th from 6:30 7:30 for a Lawson Center Virtual Town Hall Meeting. The meeting will be held on ZOOM. Email Steve Hayes at [email protected] to receive an invitation to the meeting. All members, friends and anyone with an interest in learning more about the museum are invited and encouraged to attend. You will hear from several of our current Board of Directors to learn more about what we are doing and have planned. There will be time for questions and answers. We hope to see you there!

Re-opening the TLC! Now that our region has entered Phase 4 of the state re-opening program, we can start welcoming members and the general public into the museum. Your Board of Trustees is working hard to finish up the detailed plans that we must have in place to open and to ensure the safety of our volunteers, members and guests.... We plan to open on Saturday, July 18th. We will be open on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We will be requiring masks and will happily provide them to those who forgot their own. Members who wish to visit on days other than Wednesdays or Saturdays are invited to contact us for a private tour. Videos are coming to TLC exhibits! Did you ever stand in front of your favorite Lawson Center exhibit and say to yourself, if only this boat could talk? Well, now, thanks to QR code technology and the hard work of TLC Board members and volunteers, you can have your wish. This summer, our major exhibits will be supported by short videos that you can play on your phone or one of our tablet computers that will give you more in-depth information.
