This Thursday Scott Jones has prepared a wonderful retrospective of the last decade of Lounge Stages as part of the official Festival event, and afterwards at 7:00PM Tribal Mischief will be hosting a live evening with 15 artists in the round. I have just finished editing all the videos from the 2019 Lounge Stage. Due to power issues in the tent I had to run my video gear on batteries and with it being across the tent from me and being focused on doing the sound, I didn't get video of the whole show. Jake and Ethan finally got their collective %@%* together and are kicking off a weekly video podcast focused on music through the lens of world events and music appreciation and what that means for us as a community and society. Season one will feature some of the people who have inspired not just as artists but as people. This week will be Adam Ezra (Adam Ezra Group) who has fostered a daily evening gathering of roughly 600 people to talk about the realities of COVID life ...sharing some truly personal moments. Episode two (June 14) will feature one of the most engaging and insightful voices in the folk scene, MC RSON the Voice of Reason ( Randy Green) of Gangstagrass and his bandmate Dan Whitener as we discuss the band's projects, their unique music merging of bluegrass, hip-hop, and rap as well as their perspectives on the world as it is and as it should be.

We only get to do this a couple times a year. Come out for fun and a couple Tribal Mischief announcements! Big stuff happening!

Should we say how excited we are for The Lounge Stage 2020? No, we probably shouldn't say. It's not even 2020 yet! We probably shouldn't say this is shaping up to be our most international lineup yet. Or that we plan to have the most NEW faces yet. Nah, we won't tell you how excited we are for the next Lounge Stage. It just wouldn't be fair to make you wait THAT long....
