Today is National Ballet Day! The Macaulay Dancers isn’t just about competing, performing, and hosting cool workshops (although we do that too). It’s also about a family of dancers at Macaulay. Did you know that two of our current team members, co-captain Jessica Sun and team member Claire Ng have both interned for American Ballet Theatre, America’s ballet company and one of the best ballet/dance companies in the world? In fact, Jessica helped Claire to land the internship because that’s what being a teammate and friend means.

Happy National Ballet Day from The Macaulay Dancers! Here you can see co-captains Jessica and Kathy. While we do not perform nor rehearse ballet, it provides a fantastic basis for the modern, contemporary, jazz, and other styles you can see us perform. Be on the lookout for several chances to watch us dance or dance with us this semester!

SAVE THE DATE! We are hard at work preparing for this year's competition. We hope that you'll come to watch us perform in mid-March at Christ the King High School in Middle Village. The competition is free to attend and all are welcome. Let us know if you have any questions!
