Scientist Emma Rosy of the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies was recently appointed to serve on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Science Advisory Board. A two-car crash occurred on Route 22 in Amenia on Thursday morning, Oct. 8, leading to the death of a 2-year-old girl. The girl and her mother were both injured when their vehicle was reportedly struck from the rear by another vehicle after they had stopped in traffic for an uninvolved vehicle making a turn.
