Complimentary Inner Movement Meditation - https://mailchi.mp//complimentary-inner-movement-meditation

The Movement Forest 14.12.2020

It has been a long time since I posted. I have been taking a break from social media. My husband Thomas M Cote is still in NYC. Hunter, our son, and I are in PA with my parents, who have generously taken us in. We are all ok. Today Hunter is 11 months old. I am sending waves of healing and love to all. I know it is a time of uncertainty and so much more.... I have been contemplating.... Nurturing spiritual strength through movement and meditation to continually align body-mind-heart-spirit. Strengthening introspective movement inspires healing capacities. Strengthening positivity. Attuning to nature. Movement is medicine no matter how big or small the movement. The noticing of the movement of your breath for example is one pathway that can lead you into a deeper feeling of centeredness and peace. It may not happen the first time you do it but the more you tune in and listen the more it will invite these deep resources. A tiny, tiny subtle shift is a big shift. The inner movement of your body when paired with your outer movement from a place of awareness, nourishment, trust, imagination, and surrender can invite wholeness, balance, and peace. By engaging in some form of consistent practice you can build these spiritual muscles that support your physical body, mental outlook, and emotional state. It is engaging with the practice that is important not what the practice looks like or the end goals. It is the meeting of yourself where you are and going from there. It is not always easy but starting where you are and trying and trying again. This is the practice. What develops from there is the sweet surprise. I am working remotely with the intention of inviting healing through movement and meditation. These sessions have been so powerful. I feel a much stronger purpose running through my work than ever before. I feel called to help in anyway I can. I am here for you whether that takes form as a text, email, post, or session. I will be offering free group movement meditation circles and will post those soon. Together we will move through this situation we are in. It is an opportunity to dig deep into yourself, bond with those around you, and slow down in a way that allows time for inner growth. I know this virus is affecting us in different ways. I am sending the highest vibration of healing to you and your loved ones calling in resiliency and the deep wisdom of your body. Sending huge virtual hugs. This time will pass. Hang in there. We can do this.

Tom and I are happy to announce the birth of our son Hunter Jay Thomas Cohen Coté. Born on May 4, 2019 5:12 am 7 pound 14 ounces... 20.28 inches He is quickly growing and changing every day! After a 20 hour labor with 3 hours of active labor, it was determined that Hunter's head shape would not fit through my narrow pelvic bones so a C section was performed. I had a miraculous recovery so I was discharged early. The doctors couldn't believe how easily I was standing and walking. Don't get me wrong, it was with great care, grace, slowness, and deep body listening I could take these first steps and wanted these first steps. The power of movement medicine and the deep care of try to give my body-mind-heart-spirit along with having a powerful team of healers to help me step by step. I continue to rest and not push myself because even though I am feeling good, deep internal healing is happening. This surgery is a serious one and, I have a lot I want to share about this topic. Hunter is a great teacher ... so much I am learning. Returning to babyland to attend to Hunter..... More later!
