New Member Shoutout! Brooklyn composer, musician, and vocalist Rima Fand joined The Music Room last month to focus on composing her first chamber opera, Precipice, alongside librettist Karen Fisher for The American Opera Project. Rima's work has been presented at NACL Theatre, Ice FActory festival, HERE Arts Center, and Abrons Arts Center. She currently plays in Timbila, "an innovative ensemble exploring the traditions of Zimbabwe and Mozambique." ...
