Preparation programs are offered at several locations including NCOC in Grand Gorge, OAOC in Milford, Oneonta, Delhi and Margaretville. These programs are free of charge for those who are 21 years and older who do not have a high school diploma or who want to improve their literacy or math skills. Career and Technical Education: Programs are offered at NCOC in Grand Gorge and OAOC in Milford. These programs follow the school calendar and run from September to June. Welding, Automotive Service Technician, Building Trades, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Equipment Operation and Repair, Information Technologies, Mechatronics and Natural Resource Occupations are some of the options available for Adult learners. Eat Local Otsego Restaurant Week will take place from Saturday, November 14th through Saturday November 21st, 2020. All Otsego County restaurants are invited to participate by offering a Restaurant Week deal to customers. The fee to participate is $100 for Chamber members, $150 for non-members. Fee will pay for marketing costs (ads in print and social media, website, flyers, advertising, signage, PR, etc.) Restaurants may offer: two-course prix fixe lunch for $20 and/or a $...25 three-course dinner menu, a $35 three course dinner menu, or both. We will note which prix fixes participating restaurants are offering on our website and display the menu once it is confirmed. As always, Restaurant Week is the best time to support local businesses, try new restaurants and savor old favorites. We hope to use this week to promote all of you and to foster goodwill. To be eligible for this class, you must be 18 or older and have a minimum eighth-grade reading level and sixth-grade math comprehension level. Home Health Aide (HHA): HHAs play an integral part in the healthcare field. They often work in home care or small group homes helping with daily living tasks.
