Congratulations to these first time home buyers. It’s a tough market to buy a home in but they were patient, flexible and willing to take on some risk. Finding the perfect home comes at a cost. In this market, it helps if you’re willing to rip up some old carpet in hopes to find some nice shiny original hardwood floors and know that you can make updates over the next few years to make it what you want it to be.

This East Irondequoit home was constructed in 1925. I love the original hardwood floors (now stained dark) and the built in shelving with leaded glass.
