There will be an abundance of pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, and winter squashes available, plus much more Additional vendors will be Mimi's Jams, Jellies, and Baked Goods Reeds Maple Products (Saturday) and Brookside Maple & Farm (Sunday) Bakers Grimm with an assortment of freshly baked breads, danishes and bagels Lindner's Cider (Hard Cider) Potter Family Ranch will be there (Saturday) to...o with their assortment of beef We will have Raw Spring, Summer and Fall Honey, also Creamed Honey Lip balm (with Rogers 100% beeswax). Soon we will have a limited amount of Cut-comb Honey stay tuned for that post! Hopefully next week!!!

Happy Bee-lated National Bee Day Here is a great picture and video of our #honeybees fanning at the entrance of a hive. They do this behavior most often in the evenings when the foragers are heading back into the hive. When the bees are fanning with their butts high up in the air, they’re releasing a pheromone called the Nasonov pheromone this is used for guidance and direction. ... They also fan sometimes (especially lately ) to cool the hive on hot and humid days to help keep a consistent temperature inside the hive for the queen, eggs and larvae. Our friend Bryan is doing amazing things in the Catskills, specifically in Hamden NY! So glad our paths have crossed! @lindnerscider is delicious and different than the common hard cider we have all become accustomed too, sweet and full of sugar. We will never go back to those ciders. Please support his business and vision that he is growing here in our community. The Hard Cider is available in stores throughout our area. The cider is also available at the Delhi, Hobart, Downsville and Franklin's Farmers Markets. Please support local businesses because they are the ones that support us in our communities.
