The Rye Berry Bakery & Café 30.12.2020

Just a reminder to stock up this week, as we will be closed from Mon 12/21-Sun 1/10. Our bread and biscuits freeze and toast wonderfully, so we suggest first slicing and then freezing to pull pieces out to toast as needed. We always use paper to bag loaves, but if you would like plastic for freezing just ask! Order here: https://www.theryeberry.com/s/order

Hey friends! Just a heads up, we are taking an extended break this year so we can quarantine effectively before seeing family. Bread subscriptions will pause during these dates. We will be open again as usual on Monday, 11 Jan.

It’s been a tough couple of weeks. It seems like the list of local restaurants closing is growing each day. We have all seen the posts, we’ve shared them and ...added to our stories, the zero cost ways to support local and help small businesses, the need to shop small and support #local in our community. But there’s a reality to these difficult times. There are people losing their jobs, dreams being crushed, restaurant owners unable to pay the bills and make rent. Stress and anxiety levels have never been higher in the restaurant industry as unemployment numbers climb. But we can make a difference. We can help keep these small, local restaurants open. We can help these families keep their jobs, keep their dreams alive, keep their restaurants going, and keep their staff working. Think of the ways your money can make an impact in the community. Be sure to choose local first. If you can afford to, eat at a local restaurant one more meal each week. Order takeout or delivery if you can’t dine-in or don’t feel safe doing so. And yes, leave a positive review for local restaurants and share their posts or add them to your stories. All local restaurants need your help right now. #SaveNYRestaurants
