UPDATE: Yes Phase 2, is allowed to open. HOWEVER, there are MANY requirements and protocol that were just released with just an hour ago. Included in this, we are REQUIRED to be tested for COVID-19 BEFORE opening and be tested every two weeks. There are also many more requirements and restrictions that will be in place for ourselves and our clients. With that being said, I will update this weekend with new salon protocol going forward. Good Morning! We are continuing to prepare for our opening of the Salon. Please be patient as we work through the tedious process of preparing the salon, creating new procedures to keep ourselves and our clients safe and healthy. While we are considered "Phase 2", there is no guarantee on a specific date at this point. That being said, we will not be open as soon as they say "GO" on Phase 2 as it's not realistically possible. ... We will be reaching out to our clients to schedule appointments, but please keep in mind with the restrictions, we are limited to ONE client per Stylist so this limits our ability to push people through quickly. We will post an update as soon as we have more information on the changes in salon protocol a few days. We appreciate your patience and miss you all! -Carol & Lyndsay

I have to get this off my chest. This pandemic has been a real eye opener for me (Carol).Over the years most of my clientele from the salon have become more than that, they’ve become family. I don’t usually give out my cell phone number, but the few that do have it asking for house calls or message us non stop about when we can reopen, or what you’ve heard, please STOP. I’m speaking for the masses of hairdressers when I say this... ITS NOT WORTH LOSING OUR LICENSE! I didn’t ...create this virus, I didn’t ask for this shut down, and I miss being in the salon more than you know.... I can’t wait till we reopen! We have a system in place for when we can reopen and once we know that day you will be the FIRST to know. We will be calling you.. to come in, we won’t be taking appointments over the phone until all those people that had to be canceled get in first. However for safety reasons we will not be operating the way we used too until this passes. we will have to take the mandatory precautions from state board , such as staggered schedules, one client at a time in the salon,Masks, etc. Folks this is going to be so different.The anxiety has set in. This hasn’t been easy! I need you guys that are constantly reaching out, begging for house calls, asking every week if we have a date yet, or if you can be moved to the beginning of the list for clients we’re calling back... just . Bare with us. We’re all in this together. Respect us! We chose our career that includes long hours on our feet, pampering, talking, catching up, missing dinners, and family functions.....because we chose that... but we don’t have too. The salon will be closed until further notice, due to covid-19. We will reopen when our governor says we can. There is a hefty fine and we will lose our license for two years if we get provide services. I would love to be working instead of be at home, this is hard for us all.
