Exciting news: Bar seating has finally returned. We are now seating a limited number of seats at our bar, and these positions are reservable through Resy for parties of two. Brand new on the menu: the Insanely Good Cosmopolitan joins our other tried and true Insanely Good takes on classic drinks. Our take on a classic cosmopolitan involves TRU Lemon Vodka and a delicious house-made cordial featuring orange, lime, and cranberry. It tastes just like a cosmo, but also not quite like any cosmo you’ve ever tasted. Come try one today.

The Up & Up quietly turns six years old this week. Back in 2015, we were a rather different bar, in arguably a rather different city from the one we have today. We are happy to still be here, and still be serving all of you. Thanks to you, this longevity has been possible. It’s a particularly sweet thing to think about, especially given how troubled the last year has been for our industry. So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We look forward to what will hopefully be many more years of high end, low key cocktails. Cheers!

Hello everyone! Indoor drinking is closed city-wide on account of COVID-19, but you can still get our delicious cocktails for takeaway. We’ve expanded our takeout menu, and are keeping the same hours as we did for indoor4:00-10:00pm, 7 nights a week. Place your order on our website, or scan the QR code when you arrive to check out our menu, order, and pay. We hope to serve you soon!

Tonight is our last night of indoor service before we move to takeout-only, in accordance with new COVID restrictions. We want to thank all of the guests who came to drink with us carefully and generously over the past two and a half months, but most especially we want to thank our incredible staff, who have comported themselves with the utmost rigor, care, and professionalism in what have been completely unprecedented and difficult circumstances. Please take care of yourselves and those around you. Wear a mask. Socially distance. And we look forward to serving you drinks in our bar again once it is deemed safe to do so. In the meantime, drinks will continue to be available for takeout, tomorrow and on an outgoing basis. Thank you all.

The weather may be cooling off, but gin remains as delicious as ever. This cocktail is Six Seeds, from our head bartender, Ali Martin. It plays up the strengths of a beautiful gin from New York’s Hudson Valley, while layering on some dark flavor notes that pair well with the season. Tod & Vixen’s Dry Gin 1651, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, grenadine, peychaud’s bitters, sparkling wine, and just a touch of cinnamon.
