Sometimes we can forget how sophisticated our mind and bodies are and how they have the ability to heal. In times of chronic inflammation and disease, we believe the mind and body are trying to tell us something. The signals are there for us to evaluate what we may or may not be doing for it to behave is such a way. We are not stuck or permanently broken, we are just temporarily offline. But we must take action and nourish our mind and body the way it needs. Negative tho...ught patterns, traumas, stress, loss, processed foods, sugar, toxins, alcohol, environment, improper breathing, lack of socialization and sleep can all contribute to knocking our bodies out of homeostasis. So if you are feeling broken, you're not! Take the time to tune in to what you need and show your mind and body some . Try this simple exercise to regain presence and healing: Close your eyes and take three to five resetting breaths. In through the nose and out through the mouth Resume normal breathing while placing a hand on your belly. Feel the rise and fall of the belly as you breathe Continue this for 3-5 minutes a few times a day - BONUS: Visualize yourself disease free or stress free or whatever ailment or issue you may have. See and feel the experience as if it is already happening #youarenotbroken #thebodycanhealitself #nourishment #mindbodyconnection #chronicdisease #inflammation #traumarecovery #menshealthmatters #mensmentalhealth #wiseup #thewisemenproject #wisemen

Ever feel stressed, anxious, worrisome or disconnected from reality? Try this simple exercise we swear by. It will quickly shift you out of rumination and into the present moment. First take a few resetting breaths and then use the 5-4-3-2-1 method. 5 things you can see 4 things you can touch... 3 things you can hear 2 things you can smell 1 thing you can taste #bepresent #howtobecomepresent #brainhack #biohack #anxietyexercise #panicattacks #mensmentalhealth #wiseup #thewisemenproject

Perception is not reality. Perception is the lens in which we view the world and our interaction with it. But if we feed into it, it can become our reality. Change your lens and you can change your personal reality. Heart and share if you agree #perceptionisnotreality #brucelipton #changeyourlens #neurosciencehacks #wiseup #wisemen #thewisemenproject

News Flash! You don’t have to spend hours in the gym each day in order to get into, and stay in, great shape. There’s nothing wrong with exercising a lot, or every day, but it’s not absolutely necessary- unless of course you’re training seriously for a specific reason. Most of the time, a good combination of healthy eating and a moderate, but consistent, exercise routine will do the trick. You should be just fine with 30-40 minutes per day, 3 to 4 days per week. Just make su...re to fuel your body with the right nourishing foods, and get a good balance of exercise that involves cardio, resistance and functional movement. A great place to start is with simple compound bodyweight exercises like pushups, squats and burpees. These can be done anywhere, in a short amount of time, and they yield excellent results! #exercisemotivation #workingoutshouldntbework #exercisesmarter #healthhack #biohacking #biohack #fitnessshouldbeeasy #trainsmarter #healthadvice #wiseup #move #wisemen
