ATTENTION EVERYONE due to the circumstances worldwide & locally around the covid-19 pandemic, we have cancelled our Halfway to Halloween event on May 1st. please #stayhome and help us get back to a safe & clean environment by the time fall comes around so we can all have another amazing haunt season. dont jeopardize things for everyone else out of your own selfishness!!

halloween may have been over two weeks ago BUT i have tons of photo & video of this years haunt to share within the next few weeks.

and thats a wrap!!!! our haunt 2019 season is officially over!! a tremendous thank you to all actors, volunteers, and helpers this year. we couldn't have done it without you. crowd control was a very large factor this year and i really appreciate all the new friends we added to help with this! thank you to all of you who came out to support this haunted house. whether it be giving your kids a ride here and waiting in the car, spreading the word via social media or word of m...outh, putting a donation in the pumpkin, or if you were brave enough to actually enter the funhouse. your enjoyment of this experience is what fuels us to keep growing, creating, and improving. we had a record breaking year with over 1,200 people who attended over our 5 nights of being opened, with close to 20 actors on average each night. our highest numbers yet!! throughout the entire month i was overwhelmed with support from cars driving by complimenting me on what we do each year, and how great the set-up looked this year. there were lots more kind words on halloween during the 2 hour kid-friendly haunt. and it warms by heart to hear the appreciation from you all. im glad anyone who came out for that enjoyed it. we hope everyone who gave us even the slightest but of love this season had a great time and we hope we were able to make your Halloween 2019 memorable. that's precisely why we do this! until next year... thanks again & best regards, Chris Arturi & the team at Thirty Knapp Road Haunted House (photography by MEEEE. i finally started learning how to use my own camera!!)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE! The day is finally upon us, and although it might be a little wet outside, thats not stopping us from haunting all day and night here at Thirty Knapp Road Haunted House. we just kindly ask you to wipe your feet as you enter the house we have plenty of candy for trick or treaters today but remember...... we're hosting 2 separate smaller haunts for Halloween day- the PG rated haunt is from 4pm-6pm for anyone too young or sensitive to handle jump scares (no live actors, just a calm walk through to see the spooky and get some candy) and then from 6pm-10pm the normal haunt with actors and frights will conclude the season. we will NOT be opened tomorrow, Friday November 1st. we hope everyone, regardless of what you do today, somehow does something to keep the Halloween spirit alive. PART TWO of the behind the scenes video by Gabby Galgano is now up!! seriously guys these videos are so well edited and put together with such an awesome collage of footage documenting all aspects of the haunt each night. lots of hilarious moments and killer costumes captured on film!!!

my good friend Gabby Galgano who has been helping out with photography, videography, AND acting with us this year filmed an amazing vlog for a few weeks of the haunt. she compiled a bunch of the footage together and made this spectacular video that everyone needs to watch!!

Happy Hallo-week everyone!!! Halloween is only 3 days away and Thursday will be our final haunt of the season, from 6pm-10pm. this past Friday the 25th, i predicted to be record breaking for us, and it absolutely was! we saw ALMOST 500 people in one evening! that is the most we've ever seen in a single night. we opened on time at 8pm and didn't stop until after midnight! over 4 entire hours of walk throughs, screams, and lots of people too scared to even enter. we were e...xtremely understaffed, lacking a large amount of confirmed actors from earlier in the month, but everyone who did show up put on an amazing show for everyone and i thank you for your repeated dedication. there were a few moments friday night where i really thought "man, ive never seen someone THIS scared." i felt so proud!! the crowd kept telling us to take it up a notch, so we did! the entire block was full of cars parked on the side of the road. we had several people just doing traffic and crowd control! alongside that, the constant death metal and grindcore playlist we used this week instead of the demented funhouse music really made things a lot crazier!! we made a great amount of donations money as well, which will help fund my creations & ideas for next years free haunt. we have ONE NIGHT LEFT: and thats Thursday, on Halloween from 6pm-10pm. you do not want to miss this! *** we will also be opening up the haunt early on Thursday at 4pm for anyone too scared or too young to step through the doors of thirty knapp road with actors involved. therefore from 4pm-6pm on Thursday, October 31st, we will host a PG-rated version of the haunt, entirely devoid of actors. just decorations, fog, and lights. no jump scares for anyone who might be too young or too sensitive for our usual routines. and it goes without saying, there will be plenty of candy given out to trick or treaters!!! *** thank you again to all the participants, to all the victims, and all the kind words i get from people driving by thanking me for what i do for them and the community. this is a huge win-win for everyone involved and i'm more motivated than ever to keep this going and growing.
