Tholhill Farm Throwback Thursday! This beautiful large Maple tree in front of the farm house is over 100 years old! The Tholen Family purchased the farm in Jan. 1917 and this beautiful tree was already well established! #Tholhillfarm

We are trying something new this winter! Two of our hay fields needed to be rotated with a different crop to help manage the nutrients in the soil. We decided to plant winter wheat, it is planted in the early Fall and then harvested next Summer. Stay tuned for the results!

Tonight after visiting with some neighbors on the hill, we looked up and found a Hornet's nest in the front yard Maple Tree!
