40 Years! Today marks 40 years since Thoma Development Consultants was founded! While we are excited to achieve this milestone, we wish were able to celebrate with our full Thoma Family, including our customers, staff, friends, and families. Although a big celebration is not possible during these trying times, we would still like to take this moment for some important thank you’s. First, to our many wonderful customers, some of whom we’ve had the privilege to work with fo...r decades. We thank you for welcoming us into your towns, villages, cities, and counties, and giving us the chance to partner with you in creating safer, healthier, and more vibrant communities. To the amazing team of individuals who have made up our staff over the years. While people have inevitably come and gone, the level of commitment to the company and its mission has remained steadfast. With half of our current team having over 20 years with the company, it is more family than co-workers. We’ve celebrated with each other through the happiest of occasions and supported each other through the darkest of times. A mere thank you seems insufficient. To all the others that have supported us over the past four decades: our financial advisors, accountants, attorneys, bankers, spouses, family, and friends. You are a vital to our success and we are grateful for your assistance. And lastly, to Bernie Thoma and his wife Paula, who took a chance, founded this company, and changed so many lives in doing so. Together we’ve renovated thousands of homes for the less fortunate, helped to create thousands of new jobs, improved infrastructure, built new parks, preserved historic buildings, reinvigorated downtowns, revitalized waterfronts, and made Upstate New York a better place to live, work, and play. Thank you, and enjoy some photos of us through the years. Oh, and we promise to have a party at 45!
This was waiting on the front porch of our office this morning. A sweet gift from "Rocks of Cortland". A nice way to start off the week, and a great reminder that with all of the harshness and anger in the world today, we should all try to be a little more tender-hearted. Thank you to whomever left this for us!
