Our hearts are broken for Christeen McCambridge and her children, Lilly and Gavin. This past Sunday she lost her fiance, very suddenly and unexpectedly. Today, more than usual, I’ve been thinking about all of my students. Today would have been our annual Recital Day! I missed all the excitement of setting up the stage, waiting for the overture to start the show and then seeing the beautiful, radiant faces of all the girls dressed in their costumes and makeup when the curtain opens! Even though I’ve been blessed to experience over 40 recitals, each one was just as exciting as the first! I’m so sorry my girls missed out this year, especially if it would have been a first recital for some. As we move forward in these unusual times, I hope everyone continues to be healthy and happy...enjoy your summer and stay safe. Love to all...Ms. Tommie
