Hello Summer! The first daylily blossom!

The Little Winery on the Great Lake, the oldest winery in Wayne County, NY, is looking for friendly, hard-working people to mind our wine tasting room primarily on weekdays between June 25 and Labor Day. Availability for some weekends and holidays is preferred. The job can be extended into fall as needed. The duties include: waiting on customers for wine tasting and sales, keeping the tasting room and surrounding areas clean, maintaining the wine stock in the tasting room, helping bottling wine. Hours are generally from 12 noon to 6 pm. Must be able to lift and carry a case of wine which weighs about 30 lb. Experience in conducting wine tasting and sales, knowledge of and interest in wine and grapes are preferred. Must be willing to learn various aspects involved in wine industry.

Finally! Our grapes are welcoming the moment of budbreak - or budburst - when the buds are literally growing out into the new shoots of the season. It remained in the low to mid 70s most of the day while inland hit the first 90-degree day of the year. The cool Lake water keeps us nice and comfortable here at the Little Winery on the Great Lake!
