Tomorrow during lunch, we will be holding a bake sale at the Riverdale Country School and all of the proceeds will go directly to supporting Nyumbani. In addition to the bake sale, there will be a table set up where participants will have the opportunity to write congratulatory and supportive notes to the recently graduated Nyumbani students who are now pursuing higher education and/or taking on jobs. See you there!

Just last month, two dentists visited Nyumbani and screened over 1,000 children. They completed followups with some and then taught all of the children about proper dental hygiene. Be sure to read about their experiences below.

This past November Pope Francis visited Kenya and several Nyumbani members had the great privilege of meeting him. Be sure to read about their experiences in addition to the effect of the Pope's visit on the rest of the community.
