Tillson Volunteers are currently on standby for Bloomington while they escort their Past Assistant Chief Michael Hines to his final resting place.

It is with deep sadness the TIllson Volunteer Fire Department announces the passing of Past Fire Chief and Life Member William Ferry Sr. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time. .

Thank you to everyone who came out and saw Santa today! We know there was a few roads we didn’t get to today and we apologize! Thank you to the Rosendale Police Department in joining us for the parade today. A great time was had by all! Everyone have a safe and healthy holiday season!

Reminder: Santa will be touring the district this morning beginning at 12 noon. We will be beginning in the Tillson Estates area! Come out and wave to Santa!!

Residents should be aware that Keator Avenue will be closed from State Route 213 to Mountain Road from 10:15 a.m. until 12:15 today. James Street from Brown Street to Keator will also be closed during the same time frame. Please consider alternate routes.

On Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at approximately 9:00 a.m. there will be a test of the alert system of the Sturgeon Pool Dam. There will be a series of sirens and area residents should be aware that this is a yearly test of the system only.
