Tiny Fish store is live! Like our friends in the service industry, manufacturing has been hit hard and as orders are slowing down, our staff of 30 is definitely being affected. If you want to support the shop, grab a tee. The proceeds will go directly to our staff. And since now is a great time to donate to local charities and relief efforts, we'll be giving $5 to FoodLink from every item sold! ... Congratulations to the Fuego family on the opening of @matildacoffeehouse
We're really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things - we know everyone else is too. Hope you're all staying safe and sane out there!
As the CDC states, we should all combine social distancing with wearing masks in public to keep our community safe. While we've seen a few other shops selling pre-made masks at a markup and offering to add custom prints, this isn't a service we feel comfortable profiting from as a company. That doesn’t mean we can't still do our part, though. On the blog, we’ve compiled a list of places to get masks directly from sellers in bulk, templates to make your own and Rochester businesses and makers that you can support with a purchase of one of their masks. This video of @mightybee taping off screens might just be the most relaxing thing in our archives.
Educate and Isolate in Maize Yellow and Pebble Brown - this super soft bella canvas cotton tee makes this the ideal shirt to pair with sweatpants while you post up at home! If you're looking to make your own fundraising apparel (we're giving $5 to foodlink for each tee sold and using the rest of the proceeds to support our staff) we're here to help with everything from printing to managing your online store. Let's talk! Call or email [email protected]
A little extra Rochester pride during last week's printing of these @davefortman designed Support Prints tees. If your time at home has you feeling inspired or your business is looking to get started on some merch of your own, our remote sales staff is ready to help you every step of the way.
Whether you're all ready with an apparel order or you're thinking of a custom project for the future, our remote sales team is here to help you work out all the details. Our entire staff is now safely home and we're collaborating with industry partners to make sure your custom orders keep running smoothly. We also have fundraiser tees printed and ready to ship out! $5 for each item sold will go to foodink - the rest will go directly to help our team. ... A giant thank you to everyone for the orders and shout outs. We're floored by the genuine support we've seen, not just for our own shop but though out the entire small business community!
As per the NYS mandate, we’ll be reducing our on-site staff size down 75% starting tomorrow. While our office staff is able to work remote, screen printing isn’t something we can take home. What this on-site reduction means really isn’t easy, but we’re making sure each person from our team is given all the resources they need and all the help we can give. We’re encouraging our remaining staff to follow all health and safety precautions and to stay home if they are feeling s...ick. We want everyone coming in to feel safe doing so and we’ve checked in with everyone on our team about their comfort levels. Even with our smaller staff, we’re still taking orders. Call or head over to our website - we’ve still got you covered.
Thank you to everyone who placed an order last night! We’re so grateful to be part of this supportive and creative community - and this @davefortman design totally reflects what we’re feeling right now. You can find this tee and others in our online shop, linked up in our bio. We’re donating $5 to Foodlink for every item sold. The rest of the proceeds directly help our staff @ Rochester, New York
This shirt is more than 13 years old. Just like us. This is one of the first shirts we printed, before we even had the Tiny Fish name. At the time, we went by Angry Penguin, an entertainment/music promotion/record label turned screen printing shop. We were a brand new company at one of the worst possible times to start a business: 2008. It wasn’t easy but we made it through - and we definitely (eventually) became a better business because of it. ... These strange and unsettling times have us thinking a lot about those early days, which were strange and unsettling in their own way. Only now, we’re all adjusting to a new normal at the same time. But we do hope that some of the things that carried our company back then can still carry us (ALL of us) now: Creativity, flexibility, empathy and, most importantly, community - and the ability to support and be supported when it’s needed most.
Formatting your artwork correctly is the first step to getting a high-quality print on your custom apparel.
High color count Halloween II design with some very rad sleeve prints. @frightrags
As a print shop that works with local businesses, events, artists and musicians, we're incredibly proud to be part of a community that's focused on keeping everyone healthy - not just physically but mentally, too. To echo all the wise words: Stay home if you're feeling sick. Wash your hands. Sneeze into your favorite sleeve print. Help each other out, whether that means checking in with friends and neighbors or sharing a roll from your TP stockpile. Support your local busines...ses, even if it's with a takeout order. And keep your chin up. But don't touch your face. If you need anything, we'll be here, keeping our squeegees sanitary and reducing stress by giving @theshopcat some extra love.
