Yesterday I googled How many days what bill Murray stuck in ground hog dayand though it’s not exactly clear- the experts (who are these people!?) seem to think between 8 and 30 years) . And it made sense. Anyone else been hitting a wall last few day/weeks? Like no matter how hard you try stay positive and upbeat- ya can’t? I swear it’s like anger and anxiety are just hanging out just beneath the surface waiting for the tiniest thing to trigger them. And just wanting to b...reak the rules a tiny bit? And as it turns out, this feeling has a name: Corona Virus Burnout and Pandemic Fatigue and the articles give tips on overcoming it- but honestly I think it’s better to be realistic. Acknowledge what you’re feeling and re-commit to grounding yourself in science and gratefulness. I am grateful as all hell to have chosen a partner in life who has kept this storm chaser from choppy waters. He’s my shelter in every storm and the best darned dad I could have ever given my kids. He’s out there right now, in a snowstorm, sledding with Julia so she can experience the magic of snow (we haven’t had much in NYC last few years) and so I can work a little. And if groundhogs days just gotta happen-I’m so glad I get to have it happen with him. So that’s my advice. Find your anchor, something that keeps you motivated- your family, your career, your friendships, your hobbies- and just appreciate and love the hell out of em.

I know- UNBELIEFABLE That’s right folks- sometimes things we want to do take forever, but as long as you keep working towards your goals- that’s what matters.
