Here are some words from TJCC NA - President Danny regarding the recent passed of former President Lee Teng-Hui. #RIP - Dear TJCCNA, fellow local chapter members and friends, We recently lost a national icon, international advocate for Taiwan and "Father of Democracy" in former president Lee Teng-hui. He helped shape Taiwan into a nation of trade and progress.... Did you know - President Lee was also instrumental in setting up and aligning our very own Taiwan chambers in NA and around the world? Yes. The very chamber system you and I all belong to. As members of TJCCNA and local chapters across North America, let us pause for a moment to reflect on the lives we enjoy... much of what we have now is due to the work others before us like President Lee have sown. Let us be forever united by our love for Taiwan and our people, and be persistently passionate about helping fellow Taiwanese at home and around the world. I am proud of all of us during this period of global unrest. We have actively participated in acts that help spread the important message: Taiwan Can Help. I encourage all of us to also think about how We Can Help Taiwan. Be well, be safe and being loving. Your President, Danny https://www.ocac.gov.tw/ocac/pages/detail.aspx
