In response to the rapid spread of COVID-19, I have created a new business grounded in sanitizing and disinfecting commercial and residential areas. East Village Environmental is dedicated to the safe reopening of our local businesses. The sanitizing process consists of fogging an area using a hospital-grade disinfectant. Wednesday USED to be Prince Spaghetti Day Now it’s Get your Air Conditioner Cleaned DAY Most Air Conditioner cleaning services promote a $79.00 service. What generally happens is they take your unit out and then come back and tell you how dirty it is and the mold and mildew is cause for a special cleaning. Generally it comes out to $400.00. Plus they keep it for a week.... Then there is the $50.00 job where they vacuum the unit (does nothing for the mold and mildew) or the inside of the unit not to say of the two sets of coils. I take the unit out, dismantle and wipe every bit clean. Then I blow out all nooks and crannies with a high pressure compressed air machine. Next, both set of coils are cleaned using a special solution that will not harm the coils like a bleach will do. Then spray the unit down with an Anti-Microbial solution (non-toxic) to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew. I return it the same day. My service is $300.00 per unit. I have received many inquiries as to if I partake in such services and given our current circumstances, I have given it a thought and decided this might help ease the minds of residents. My past work includes having been Head of Operations, Senior Project and Safety Manager for a national environmental restoration company. I have been certified by IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning Restoration Certification). I also hold certifications from NYC Health and Hygiene as well as OSHA. My service will include the Fogging/Misting of your apartment with a Hospital Grade Disinfectant. This process will take approximately 30 minutes and your apartment will be ready to reenter after 30 minutes after completion.
