Congratulations to @courtney.kinch who received an Elite Gold at competition this weekend, she also ended up getting 7th place overall out of 20 other routines! This was her first time ever dancing a solo!

Here are some in-progress pictures of our new studio. Me and my little helper taped and primed the back wall today. Tomorrow floors are being delivered and more painting will be done!

This studio renovation was truly a labor of love Thank you to everyone who gave up some of their time to help me with this undertaking. I could not have finished this without you!! Tomorrow the studio opens and I can’t wait to have students dancing in our new space. Welcome to Tournesol’s new home!

Here is the news that we promised! Tournesol Dance now has its very own space!!! Starting in January we will be dancing in our new studio in East Rochester. We will be posting up more pictures as we get our new studio ready. We hope you come dance with us!

2020 is on its way out! It’s time to set the stage 2021. What are your dance goals? To work on turns? Maybe to leap higher? Increase your flexibility? Or just make it to dance class every week? Whatever it may be I hope you find time for yourself and you keep dancing!

We were very busy elves this Christmas Eve. We measured, and cut, and hammered all day, but the sprung floors are in!

A lot of progress was made at the new studio this weekend! We scraped hundreds of glow-in-the-dark stars off the ceiling, painted the walls and ceiling, and installed the floor mounted barres. There is still more to do but I’m happy with the progress. Thank you to all of my helpers, teamwork makes the dream work!
