Registration is underway for yoga! Adult and youth sessions being offered! Come and learn some basic poses, movements, and breathing techniques. This introductory course will target all muscle groups, discuss safety techniques, and utilize static and dynamic stretching that can increase your flexibility. Time is spent both sitting on the floor and standing. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring your own yoga mat. See flyer for details.

There is going to be more Indoor Pickleball sessions at Street Community Center! Clarktown residents ages 18 and older are eligible. You must bring your own paddles and balls. Must wear sneakers. Must present a valid community center ID card to participate. See flyer for details.

Town of Clarkstown Recreation & Parks 18.10.2020

Registration is underway for Basic Life Support CPR! Basic Life Support (CPR/AED). For first time or expired card holders. Successful completion of this course will result in a one year Basic Life Support (CPR/AED). Clarkstown residents ages 15 and older. The fee is $50.00. See flyer for details. Certification. If you fail the test, you must retake it. A pocket face mask is MANDATORY to take the class. This class meets the requirements for lifeguards and camp counselors. Each person will be socially distant and work with their own mannequin.

Another session of Tai Chi for Beginners is going to take place at Street Community Center! Clarkstown residents ages 16 and older are eligible. Tai chi is an excellent form of exercise that combines flexibility, strength and endurance. Registration is underway. See flyer for details.
