The Town of Erwin’s one-time Spring roadside pick-up of brush only (no leaves) will begin on June 1, 2021. Brush may be placed by the roadside, but not in the road, beginning today. Brush must be by the roadside by 7:00 AM Monday, June 1st to be picked up by the Town. Brush may not be deposited after that time, and may not be left by the roadside after pick-up has begun. In conjunction with New York State’s removal of most restrictions in response to COVID-19, Town of Erwin will reopen all offices to public walk-ins, beginning Tuesday June 01, 2021. The Town is looking into converting streetlights to LED bulbs for a start-up cost of $7,700. This could save $21,000 per year, and reduce the amount of energy consumed.
