***SUMMER DAY CAMP ANNOUNCEMENT*** It is with much regret that the Youth Commission is announcing the cancellation of the Summer Day Camp program for 2020. Wit...h the current state of the pandemic that has affected the nation and the continued crisis ongoing within NY, the Department of Health has not released applications for town participation. With that being said, both Town of Jay and Town of Black Brook boards voted to cancel the program this year in response to the uncertainty of this health crisis. This was a difficult decision as both towns have enjoyed offering this program to our families within both communities but it is a program that requires timelines to be kept due to hiring, approvals and certified (required) training beforehand. Our hope is to offer this program next summer when hopefully the country gets back to a little normalcy. Otherwise, we wish everyone to stay safe and healthy during these unprecedented times.
