Several Scouts, leaders and parents from Boy Scout Troop 73 joined with the Voorheesville American Legion Post 1493 and Honored our Hero’s by placing American Flags in all 4 of our local cemetery’s.

The Legislature announced the May COVID-19 Beyond the Call Award will be awarded to Deborah Engel for efforts during the pandemic to provide services to seniors who were having a difficult time during the pandemic.

The latest is for Medicare coverage where you are asked questions of what coverage you have, with who, and how they can give you better coverage. DO NOT give out any PERSONAL INFORMATION to anyone on the phone. If Social Security, Medicare or Department of Motor Vehicle are going to contact you, you most definitely will receive a letter and/or postc...ard in the mail from their agency stating that you need to contact them. At no time ever will these agencies call you on the phone asking for personal information. As I stated, they will already have this information on file.
