Tax Collection - at this time, the Town Hall is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for tax collection purposes. DUE TO COVID-19 THAT COULD CHANGE. The Town of Shawangunk is focused on keeping residents and employees safe. We strongly encourage taxpayers to MAIL IN THEIR TAX PAYMENTS. A receipt will be sent to you. If you come in person, you must use the entrance on the side of the building by the Wallkill Fire House. There is a handicapped r...amp available. You must wear a mask, use hand sanitizer and sign in at the door. (By limiting the number of people that come into the building, our chances of spreading the virus is reduced greatly.) Until further notice NO ELECTRONICS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE TRANSFER STATION.

As of December 9, 2020 all upcoming in-court appearances have been postponed. The Court will notify you of your next date. Please follow up with the court clerk to confirm you current information.

As of 12/1/20 the Transfer Station's new hours are: Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM

As of 12/1/20 electronics are now being accepted at the Transfer Station once again.
