It will be a Pfizer clinic and anyone 12 years old or older is eligible. Anyone under 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian. Presentation by Cornell Design Connect on Hamlet Revitalization May 5, 2021 Earlier this year, The Town of Newfield Planning Board contracted with Cornell Design Connect to engage in a study of the Newfield Hamlet. Main areas of interest included local business and flow of traffic particularly around the Covered Bridge intersection. Newfield residents are encouraged to enroll in the Newfield Clean Heat Campaign to get a free assessment for home energy improvements while helping to secure grant... funding for the Town. On the same day, Newfield Public Library staff invite the community to celebrate the opening of the town’s new History and Activity Center down the road at 198 Main Street, Newfield, NY 14867. Newfield Food Pantry Covid 19 Changes New food distribution guideline for Newfield Residents during Covid19. Due to the increase (second wave) of Covid19 cases we are seeing in our area and the nation, the Newfield food pantry will no longer be making home deliveries of food. We need to do this for the safety of our volunteers, the majority who are senior citizens themselves and limit contact/exposure for all concerned according to the new CDC guidelines update of Sept 2020. ...We are now offering two drive-thru pickup times at our pantry location at the Newfield Methodist Church on Main St. to meet the increased demand. Every 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, from 1-2 pm and then at 6-7 pm people may arrive by car for food pickup. Each client will receive a " shopping list" of what we have available that day to choose from. Completed shopping list will be collected by a masked/gloved volunteer who then gives the order to the masked/gloved volunteers within the church hall to fill. All food boxes/bags orders will then be loaded directly into the trunk of each client’s vehicle. Clients must remain in their vehicle at all times, in order to maintain social distance throughout the process This loading into the car procedure is now the standard throughout food sites in our country. This is a very challenging and difficult time for everyone but together we shall continue to help everyone in our Newfield community in a safe way for all. By participating in the CSC program, Newfield can access resources, training, tools and expert guidance to help navigate a local approach to climate change. Networking and peer relationships with other CSC communities are also invaluable sources of ideas, modeling and support.

Tompkins County and the City of Ithaca are announcing a series of community engagement opportunities and seeking the public’s input to help reimagine public safety. The collaborative effort follows an executive order from New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo requiring all municipalities with police departments in New York State to adopt a plan for reinvention by April 1, 2021. Members of the Ithaca and Tompkins County community are encouraged to review public forums and presentations shared by City and County officials and provide input.
