To the Town Residents, I have just looked at the Town website and learned the homepage is missing information. I can only make changes to the website from the Town Hall. I am out of the office tomorrow due to a previously scheduled appointment. On Wednesday, the website will be corrected. The home page will have a link to the February Zoom Planning Board meeting when Mr. Guidara presented his proposal to the Planning Board. Nov. 10. The Washington Town Board is advising the community that on the evening of Sunday, November 8th two employees reported they have tested positive for Covid 19. On Monday, November 9th, an additional employee tested positive. The employees all work in the Town Hall, two on the 2nd floor and one on the 1st floor. The Town reported the incidents to the Dutchess County Department of Health, and provided them with contact tracing information for everyone who provided in...formation upon entering the building. While most visitors to the building did not have direct contact with the individuals who have Covid-19, all people who visited the Town Hall should be mindful of any Covid symptoms. The Town Hall will reopen on November 30th. If you require assistance with Town services, please call 845-337-1890, ext 100 and leave a message. Calls will be returned by the appropriate personnel. We appreciate the patience and understanding from the community, along with all of the good wishes that have been offered. Town officials remind everyone to remain diligent in the fight against Covid. Be mindful of symptoms, respect social distancing measures, wash your hands and wear a mask.
