No More Measuring needed!! For those of you who live outside the Rochester area, we have been asking you to take your own measurements when placing an order for pants. You no longer have to do this. Instead of having you submit your measurements, we will now be sending to all of our out of area customers the measuring gizmo which will take your measurements for you. When you place your order, the measuring gizmo will be mailed to you along with return packaging and postage. T...his is a gadget that contains a series of belts that you fasten around your waist, high hip, and full hip to measure their circumference. There is an additional belt that measures your front and back rise. See device below. We have had good results with customers that have chosen to use the gizmo in the past and are finding that it gives us more accurate measurements than self-reported measurements. We will soon revise our website to reflect this change, but in the meantime, if you place an order, there is no need to submit measurements. We will send you the gizmo. To Your Measure is located in Rochester, NY. Your pants are made here by seamstresses with years of experience. Many have learned the trade from their mothers and grandmothers before them. Can you make my pants so that the pants sit at my natural waist? I hate these low rise pants. Yes, because each pair of pants by To Your Measure is custom made, you tell us where you want the waistband to sit. You can indicate this in either of two ways: When you take your front rise measurement just measure from where you want the waist to sit, down to the center crotch seam. This will ensure that the pants rise to your natural waist. This measurement is included in our illustrated measurement guidelines. When you receive your muslin, you will be asked to indicate where you want the waistband to sit, by marking the muslin at your natural waist. What is your return policy? If you are not happy with the fit of your pants, we will alter them to fit you or refund your money. Guaranteed My body has a really odd shape. Can you make pants to fit me? No two bodies are alike and many bodies are asymmetrical. We see it all the time; one leg longer than the other, one hip higher than the other, arms and legs of different circumferences, we have seen quite a variety of shapes and sizes. Again, because we make a pattern based on your measurements, we can accommodate these variances. How is your pricing adjusted for plus sizes? We do not charge more for larger women.
