Transpersonal Acupuncture

As the cold bright stillness of Winter settles upon us and the new year looms on the horizon. 2021, many people are hanging their hats on this coming year being better than the much despised current one. As we putter out of 2020 on the last dregs of fumes in our tank, I check inside and feel, I am confident that this coming year will be brighter than the last. It will not be business as usual, back to the grind of ignorance and consumption. No, we are in for twelve months plu...s of repair and resilience training, re-patterning the collective nervous system . The hard-work of making change stick and not just slipping back into the old patterns that have sustained disease for the last two centuries. I recognize the renewal of an energy, that has been absent. I have craved this energy my whole life. I sought it out as a child, I prayed to it in my silent voice. I buried it with bitterness when I could not find others who spoke the same language. It has a feminine feel, it respects the natural environment, it does not take more than it needs, it is honest, there is respect for the cycles of life. But most of all it says.. No more, can we let the ego inside our head justify our inauthentic and violent actions, our greed, our laziness, our need to take more and not give back. There is an equal force of energy that is making itself known, and it is one resistant to change. It is very loud and also wants to be recognized. The two forces will play out the ever redundant struggle between growth and stasis. It is a matter of where you want to put your own focus. The cycles of change, ebb and flow like a tide. There are raucous waters of raging seas and the quiet calm after a storm. There is a gentle lull of waves that will rock us to sleep.It is all part of a greater unknown pattern. We are somewhere adrift amidst those waters. We get to make choices, look to the stars for navigation but we are not privy to the greater course . Ride the tide. Do the work that is asked, join with others in the community and practice humbleness and gratitude along the way. -- Jipala R. Thinking hard about the nutty world around us. Having a ghost like premonition that it is time to examine yourself and your actions and take careful stock. Are you holding yourself accountable to being your best self? And I am NOT meaning are you successful. Are you humble? Are you kind? Are you curious?
