Edo Women Empowerment International New York mission is to advocate and support the daily needs and rights of marginalized rural poor women to enable them init...iate and manage their own social -economic and development process Our goal is to help edo state women and girls reclaim their dignity that poverty denies them to make a lasting and positive impact on the community they live in and society as a whole. Women's participation and leadership in edo state improve decision- making processes and allow for effective, inclusive, and accountable governance, a key precondition for peaceful and inclusive societies The meaningful participation of women in decision- making requires building their capacities and enhancing their skills in areas including advocacy, leadership, public administration, peace building and conflict management. Enhancing governance practices and processes we call for the inclusion of more women at all levels of decision-making process in edo state. In edo state there are a lot of young boys and girls living below poverty line in Nigeria who have to resort to using old clothes because no money to afford good clothes, We urge the governor of edo state to focus on our sea port in edo state so we could start something big in edo state, we need the government to do their part why we play our part here in New York.
