Troupsburg Mobile Food Bank

We are still not able to have the mobile food bank in town due to Covid-19 BUT The Food Bank of the Southern Tier is hosting a drive-thru Food Distribution on Wednesday, August 5, from 10am-12pm at Hornell High School for Steuben County residents only. Registration is required at www.foodbankst.org/CFD or (833)432-3663. Registration is open Mon August 3 - Tues August 4 from 8am-4pm or until full.

It breaks my heart to announce will NOT be having services again this month. (5/19) All the mobile food trucks are still suspended through the month of May due to Covid-19. The office is trying very hard to do everything in their power to get them out and about for the month of June. Please pass the word. Stay strong. Stay healthy. Stay positive.

Just a friendly reminder, we will NOT be having the mobile truck come to our town tomorrow. (4/21) However our friends in Corning will be serving. We hope and pray we will be able to see you next month. Stay safe and healthy!

Until further notice, ALL mobile food banks are suspended due to Covid-19. Meaning we will NOT be having service next week on the 21st. However the community food bank in Corning (11715 E Corning Rd, Corning, NY 14830) remains open so you will be able to receive food at that location. Check out their facebook page or call their office for hours as it may very. I am deeply sorry to announce this. We hope to have our services back in our hometown next month (May 19th) IF this is all over with. At this point it is not a guarantee. Please please be safe and stay healthy. We miss you all.

Thank you all for your patience today. We started off with a lot of chaos but finally got it under control. Thank you to our volunteers as well. If it weren't for you, none if it would be possible! If you would like to volunteer just send a message, all are welcome. Don't forget next month (April 21st) we will be located behind the Firehall. We served 98 families today! How awesome is that?! Looking to help out in your community, but dont know how? We are always looking for more volunteers to help out. We meet at 10:30 for the truck to arrive. Once the truck arrives and you have checked in, we take the food off the truck, place it on the tables, and make sure everyone gets the same number of items. After everyone has gone through and it has hit 1pm, we clean up and put the tables back on the truck. We welcome everyone with arms wide open. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
