Another Black man shot dead at the hands of a police officer in the city of Troy, NY. I just found out that I personally know the victim, I will try and give them time to do their investigation but from this point on I will be front and center when ever there is a killing by police, police misconduct or downright anything I find questionable that police officers do. Just 2 weeks ago I shared a video of a troy high school student being treated unruly by Troy police officers a...nd now this not to mention other things Troy police have gotten away with. There is to much cover up that Troy Police Department has been for covering up, no longer will cover up's happen on my watch. Now the chief of police can work with me on making sure everything is on the up and up because as I stated above I will always give them the opportunity to investigate it, but if he won't then stay out of my way and then the chief won't be off limits either. At 0250hrs, this morning, Troy Firefighters responded to Box 412 for a structure fire at 190 2nd Ave in Lansingburgh. Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy fir...e on the 3rd floor of a large 3 story wood frame structure, containing several apartments. A Second Alarm was quickly transmitted, and crews from Engine 4, Engine 2, and the Rescue Squad stretched multiple garden-lay handlines to make an aggressive interior attack. Engine 1 secured water supplies, while crews from Truck 1, Truck 2, and Medic 4 provided both horizontal and vertical ventilation, as well as Engine 1 and Engine 6 crews providing secondary fire suppression. Against heavy fire upon initial arrival, crews were able to contain the blaze and limit spread throughout the structure. No injuries were reported, and all residents were accounted for.
