Yes, we are a hijab friendly salon.. This is my friend Tina. She's been coming to our salon for over a year. (Can you believe it Tina!) She called me a year ago to explain that she was looking for a salon that would provide her a space that would help protect her modesty while she was getting her hair done.... I was so excited to be given this opportunity. When I decided to expand the salon Tina was in the forefront of my mind. In our little space it was easy to control the environment, would I still be able to offer her the same service when we added another 1000 square feet of space. That's how our "Serenity Suite" was born. Although Tina, and those like her were my inspiration for the space my mind was quickly flooded with all of the different opportunities having this suite would allow us to serve our community. If you or your children have sensory issues we can provide you a space where we can control what is going on around us. If you suffer from hair loss and would prefer to be taken care of in a private room we can accommodate you. If you have medical concerns that would prohibit you from getting services done in a public setting our suite could be your answer. Yesterday I received this email from the D.O.S. It is outlining a long overdue law that prohibits gender based pricing. I'm proud to say that we were ahead of this law at True Beauty WNY.
