Hi Jamestown! It was a perfect day for a groundbreaking ceremony for the @sk8_jtny @jamestownparks skatepark! Because of the incredible support from the @rcwjrf...’s #builttoplay skatepark initiative, this project will be completed within three years from when it started. That includes delays because of Covid! The average time it takes to develop a public skatepark is around 4-5 years. Pete Scheira and the City of Jamestown are showing what can be accomplished when community members, municipal staff, and elected officials work together toward a common goal for young people. #STOKED #nyskateboarding
