If your riding the hill this weekend it’s real dusty up there. Protect yourself, family and friends by slowing down wearing dust masks and eye protection. On an...other note someone rode over one of the Orange fences off the Burdicks crossing road. If you don’t want to have trails to ride on keep it up. We have trails many on Private land and we appreciate the landowners that allow it. It’s simple if you want to be disrespectful STAY HOME. So here's the scoop: Denning, Mile Strip, Forks, Culpepper, Worth, Salmon River, Pitcher and Parker Rds are in decent shape. Corners are icy, very little snow. ...We attempted to groom Flat Rock Rd..no snow to work with. Unable to get rid of the moguls. Did not touch Olin Rd as it is the same as Flat Rock. We did the best we could with what we had to work with. Please be careful as there are still some water holes on Ogbenny Trail between Horace Forward and Worth Rds. Please watch for low tree limbs and rocks in the trail. See more

It was a cold one out there tonight. Tree limbs, and trees down all over the place and it didn't help that the saws kept freezing up. Well, we got the Montague ...trails groomed. Tom Sawyer trail is now open. Remember to stay on the trail or we will lose it again !!!!There were 5 water holes and many low hanging limbs. Olin and Flat Rock roads are flat at the time of this posting. Again, negative, inappropriate or derrogatory remarks are not tolerated and will be removed. Mother nature has dumped another foot or so of snow today. We are out grooming Montague area tonight. Again, the trees have alot of snow on them. Beware of limbs and trees that may have fallen in the trails.

Ok people. This is why this trail is closed. There was a fence here that some inconsiderate person took upon themselves to open. This is privates property. We h...ave already lost 2 trails on private property, we will continue to lose more! This is NOT part of the trail to Copenhagen. You now have to ride the road on 194. And the landowner is not very happy. See more

FYI...I noticed that all of the parking areas in Barnes Corners are full.There is high traffic on the trails today. Please slow down and keep right. Only a coup...le of inches of snow has fallen in the Barnes Corners area. Please be careful out there today. Please watch for low hanging limbs from the heavy snow load. 34 degrees . I’m in Barnes Corners tonight for our evening shows. Lake effect snow is starting to get going and is expected to continue to pickup over the next few hours. By Tuesday morning 6-13 inches of snow is expected on the Tug Hill.

***PLEASE READ***IMPORTANT It has come to our attention that due to state budget deficits, largely due to the current pandemic, that NYS snowmobile clubs may r...eceive less funding this year than in past years, possibly 20 pct less. Snowmobile clubs already run on razor thin budgets, doing our best to put as much into the trails as possible. Rest assured we will be expressing our displeasure regarding this potential decision , there is little that will likely be done at the state level to account for the budget shortfall. For our club in particular the funding equates to about 40% of our fuel bill for the year, something we and all the other clubs will need to overcome. Here is the ask. It is simple. We have said it before but it’s more important now than ever, please join more than one club, several if you can. Club membership money goes right to the club and the trails, not to the state. Sadly most snowmobilers only join one club, we need to change that, this year especially. You know us, we will groom til we are broke but we want to be able to groom as much as we need to.
