I could BURST! Do you know how long it’s taken??? Ten years. TEN YEARS!!! . 2020 has done a number on me in many facets but one is definitely as a business owner. First I worried how having a baby would effect my business then forget that COVID topped those fears. . Either way, I was worried: Was starting back going to feel like working from the bottom up AGAIN! I mean come on I did my time. ... . These past two weeks I feel like I’ve gotten my validation and the divine nod that everything is going to be Ok. I just started taking new clients again and I can’t believe how many people are reaching out. Want to know the truly amazing part about it... . I can be picky! I don’t mean that to be snobby. But within the first 30 seconds of chatting with a prospective new client I know whether they are a fit for my work or not. And I’m delighted that 90% of those people connecting are my soul mate clients. It’s tremendous, my clients are why I am full of passion for my work. . Oh Morganite, now I know why I felt you so strong the moment I put you on. . Today was MY turn for self care with my regular emotion code session. I told my practitioner I had an image from delivering my baby boy nearly three months ago that kept replaying in my mind but I didn’t know why. . She felt drawn to work based off my identified birth emotion, unworthy which we discussed can coincide with low self esteem and needing self love.... . As we started I put myself in the image I keep seeing. It expanded, I heard don’t forget, never forget this. I realized I was being told don’t forget how proud my husband was of me, how nurses kept chatting around me telling my husband how great I did. Because my self talk inside when I was pushing started to get frustrated, negative and scared then afterward and long time after I keep thinking I should/could have done better. . This is where the self love needs to come in and shift this mental belief. Shift the unworthy into valued. Mom, I still feel feelings I didn’t let go of. How long does it take??? . We’ve been working on some things with my nine year old and he’s starting to get frustrated. After a parent teacher conference his teacher had an incredible insight, frustration is a good thing it will help indicate he’s hit a wall and it’s time to make a change. . We discussed the meeting, he was feeling a lot of different things. Later he asked me what Amethyst does as I cleaned up from dinner. It... helps us gain wisdom by letting go of thoughts and emotions we cling to. . I need that! He says. Can I wear it? . Not too long after he wanted to know how long it would take the feelings to let go. I chuckled, ah if only it was that immediate... . There’s so many things I could say about this concerning energy work. I think the first thing to acknowledge is everyone is an individual and while some people experience results immediately others see it subtly over time. . In massage therapy we say, if it took years of moving or sitting a certain way to create a pattern of pain, do you really expect it to be fixed in one session? . Patience with ourselves is key. Awareness is key. The clients who are good observers of their body and habits more easily notice when a shift is made, especially a subtle one. I say a SHIFT because it’s those cumulative positive changes that eventually get them to their goals. . WHY does this keep coming up? WHY am I not over this? Clients often wonder... . We do energy work on a specific issue or area of the body and it will continue to pop up over and over. Which can understandably feel frustrating. PLEASE KNOW... . Think of the relationship between the soul and the body like any relationship you may have in your life. You can have a life experience that creates many layers and entanglements of physical, mental and emotional energies.... . One session wouldn’t necessarily deal with each and every one of these energies all at once. That could wind up being overwhelming or disorienting.
