Twin Tiers Classic Horse Shows 09.01.2021

Happy new year 2020 TTC Awards presentation will be a bit different this year due to the in going pandemic and restrictions that are in place and forever changing...unfortunately we will not be having our banquet but we will be having an award pick up on 2/13/21 at the chemung county fairgrounds to be at the Chemung County Agricultural Society office ( first building behind Byrne Dairy - off Fairview). We are asking that only 2 people come for award pick up so that we c...an efficiently social distance and abide by regulations. We will have an area set up for you to have your pictures taken so you can share with your family (we will post on our Facebook page). For those that are Top Ten Horses (traditionally not announced until the banquet) you will receive a personalized invitation with a time to arrive so we can present the awards and get our group picture taken), we ask that each exhibitor receiving an award for 2020 to please come to pick up your awards. A detailed time frame will be posted in the next few days for planning purposes. Congratulations to all of our exhibitors and we look forward to seeing you all on 2/13/2021. See more

As our show committee has been working hard over the past several weeks to finalize our 2021 show program we hope that you are all staying safe and healthy. First we would like to thank all of those that provided their input on the show program layout post from October. We took everyone’s input into account to make the decision that we came to. For 2021 we will continue to run a full day of classes with some updates to the show program to facilitate a more fluid and time e...fficient show schedule. There are lot of factors that came into play with making this decision (and believe me it was not done hastily) as we would like to be able to accommodate all suggestions but in reality we are not able to make them all happen. Our show has grown significantly over the past 9 years to be what we are today and that has something to say for our show committee, show staff, and of course our wonderful exhibitors/supporters. Financially it was not in our best interest to go to a split two-day format as we would be losing considerable income which is put back into the awards, ribbons, updates to our shows, and facilities. Giving 2020 was the year that it has been, we believe that it is not a good time to make significant changes going into 2021 as it is still unclear what 2021 will hold for us all. There have been some changes to the rules, show program, and entry form they will be updated and provided in the near future. Here are a few of the changes to be seen in 2021: To be considered for the Top Ten Horse you will need to designate up to 3 divisions that will be counted toward this award this will be done at the time that you submit your 2021 TTC membership form (will be on the form) Our Green Horse Divisions have traditionally not been highly participated in so for 2021 we will be combining the Green Horse English and Western Divisions to be Green Horse Division E/W combined Our youth divisions will also be changing the division will now be a Youth 18 & Under Division with that being said, we will be splitting the High Point Weekend awards to be Youth 13 & Under and Youth 14-18 as you will need to clearly designate on the entry form what age divisions the youth falls into (on EACH entry form) With the above noted changes we feel that our shows will run more time efficient and allow each exhibitor to participate in the divisions that they desire. We strive to continue to grow as a show series and could not be where we are today without the continued support of our exhibitors and their families.
