Welcome class of 2024! I’m sure you’re all excited to start the year, and what better way than by kicking off with the virtual club fair! Remember to look for NASP-SASP this year as we will be holding multiple online events and offer leadership opportunities!
Although we were unable physically participate in the walk as a team, many of our UB SASP members participated in the virtual MS Walk with our respective furry friends. During National MS Week, UB SASP had a series of events which brought MS to the attention of our fellow members within the pharmacy community. It was rewarding to know that participating in such activity helped in fundraising and raising awareness for the disease state. Thank you to everyone who has taken part in fundraising and participating in our events this semester!
Hi Everyone, This year, the National MS Society will be hosting its first ever Virtual Walk MS event! In honor of this event, the Student Association of Specialty Pharmacy will be fundraising leading up May 2nd, which is the date that the Buffalo Walk MS event was supposed to be held in person. Using the link below, we will be collecting online donations to directly benefit the National MS Society. Please feel free to directly donate, or forward this link to friends and famil...y members! You can also feel free to sign up as a Walk MS team member (it's free!) and create a personal Walk MS profile. This will give you a link which you can use on social media to fundraise in your name. On May 2nd, all team members are encouraged to post a picture of themselves wearing some orange gear and doing Walk MS their way, whether it be going for a walk/run outside or on the treadmill at home with the hashtag #virtualwalkMS. We hope that during this period of social distancing, we can all use this as an opportunity to stay connected and help out a great organization that could use some extra support right now. Thanks and stay safe everyone! https://secure.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR
