Help senior citizens living in the Capital District with household repairs, property maintenance, housekeeping, errands, transportation and other tasks. Enjoy part time flexible hours, work locally and help someone in your community to maintain the home, safety and independence.

If you are, why not help senior homeowners throughout the Capital District with small home maintenance and repair tasks, lawn and garden work, house cleaning or other household chores. You can be paid $15.00/hr or volunteer your time. No matter what, your skills can help local senior citizens keep two things they cherish their homes and independence. Thanks to the generous support of the American Red Cross Umbrella is now installing brand new, state-of-the-art smoke detectors with 10 year batteries for hundreds Umbrella members at no cost. Members not sure if their detectors are working, if the battery is still good or if additional detectors are needed should call the Umbrella service office to arrange home inspection and smoke detector installation.
